Hi.

I'm Gabriela, the owner of apartment eight.

I'm a New Jersey transplant living in Berkeley in Apartment Eight with my boyfriend, Peter. I moved out to teach high school math in Richmond, CA for two years for Teach for America, and I'm continuing to teach into my third year. My students would describe me as a lover of math, but really I'm a lifelong learner who yearns to be in a classroom, in any sense.

I'm learning to love the bay area after finding out that it was very different from the east coast. Here you'll find my adventures on the west coast, finding all the bay area has to offer, along with adventures in cooking and baking, and maybe a few stories about teaching.
